Helmut Lenzing. Working with José Antonio. I will discuss aspects of the longstanding cooperation with José Antonio concerning writing mathematical papers and organizing conferences and workshops. Instead of trying to give a complete report of our collaboration or the written output, I will instead focus on characteristic aspects and will, even there, be quite selective. The aim is to draw a picture of an outstanding scientist and science-organizer.
